For high-key you want three lights, on two of them you need flags, or gobo's, or barn doors, or anything that will control where the light goes.
You need a white background, or a pale background, it doesn't have to be white, what is white? you could take a photograph of a black cat and the photo would be white, how? you horribly overexpose it, so anything pale can be white, you just have to throw loads of light at it, so point those two flashes at the wall, put them way out to the sides out of the way and use
