Out with the old?

Wed Dec 14, 2011, 5:33 AM
Looking back through my galleries, I wondered to delete some of my older work, some that I'm not too proud of anymore.

THEN a thought came to me, that maybe some out there like to look at your journey as a photographer and this concept will very much come into my book when publishing 'True Selves'

So, to all the masses (joke), my limited readers - what do you think?

Massive hugs to you all during this festive season also :)

I'd say definitely keep it.
But you could put the old stuff into a folder and take them out of the featured section if you want a good first impression. :)

I understand the desire to purge older works, but I do enjoy following an artist's journey over time. We're all human, and it's not perfection that matters to me so much as the journey we take as we strive towards it.

I think out of all the answers, this is how I feel deep inside but needed to hear / see the words from another, not sure that makes sense but not sure that matters either ;)
Thank you my friend :) xx

Yes Jan, I agree with the above comments. We must respect the journey, and it shows how far you have come. It also gives your new watchers a chance to look through and sometimes pick up some little treasure YOU did not really view, but might mean everything to THEM. I find that with my poems, long forgotten in the bigger picture, someone might search for a word such as TREMBLE, and find one of my works....
Love your work, don't delete Jan
